Cardioid condenser microphone
Ideal for professional recordings and demanding broadcasting applications, this versatile studio microphone can be used with confidence in a wide variety of situations. With its balanced direct-coupled output, resulting in a crisp signal even under high output conditions, this mic does not exhibit the distortion associated with conventional transformer-coupled outputs. Its rapid response to transients contributes to open and transparent reproduction of even the most difficult to record instruments. This microphone is fully compliant with the European RoHS directive on the reduction of hazardous substances.
The AT4051b consists of two modules: an AT4900b-48 body and an AT4051b-EL cardioid capsule head (each sold separately). Other interchangeable capsules are available: omnidirectional (AT4049b-EL) and hypercardioid (AT4053b-EL).
Features
Specially designed to meet the most critical acoustic requirements of professional recording, broadcasting and sound reinforcement
High front-to-rear rejection rate – cardioid polar pattern allows for better isolation of the sound source
